Special Videos & Activities to Keep You Moving!

We're posting videos and activities to keep you moving at home.

We have had classes with many of these instructors at dance conventions. 

For All Dancers there is a "DANCERS FEET" link for technique.

Ballet –   Barre for 7 and up dancers =  Remember for barre to use a chair back,   table or Kitchen counter. Barre height should be just below your shoulders with your arms in 2nd.  You may even challenge your self with holding your position and balance by letting go of the barre for as long as you can. Work on your French words.    

Intermediate-advance ballet there are also some center floor   combinations. Parts may be used in new choreography.

Tap – here is a link for a tap barre to work on technique. Remember which part of the foot makes your tap sounds. Practice your steps for recital... 

Jazz & Hip Hop - warm ups, stretch & conditioning links. Remember your recital dance choreography, watch old movie musicals. Be sure to check age appropriateness. 

Acro –  Remember your space/ safety firsts: Warm ups, practice your tricks that you can do alone [that means no spotter to help] stretch, stretch, stretch.   

Stretching Technique Videos

Tots and Combo- many parents have recorded dances during class on Visiting Day. Please practice along with the recording and we encourage you to share them with other dancers in your class.
